Dance of the Wind captures a powerful moment of freedom, movement and emotion — a magnificent grey horse rising onto its back legs, its flowing yellow mane catching the energy of the wind.

For me, this painting represents far more than the horse itself. It reflects how far I have come as an artist — years of learning, experimenting and pushing myself to create something that feels truly my own. Every mark, every layer and every piece of texture has been created with my own palette knives and techniques, allowing the horse to almost emerge from the canvas.

I wanted to capture that split second when strength becomes movement and movement becomes freedom. The flowing mane, powerful stance and broken layers of paint create a sense of energy that almost feels alive.

Dance of the Wind is a celebration of the journey I have taken as an artist — turning imagination, emotion and a love of wildlife and horses into something that feels wild, powerful and completely my own.
